I have not patched anything w.r.t. sixel terminal, at least not knowingly.

> Is there any way to configure the mentioned aspects?

Not that I'm aware of. That's probably the result of the changes that
went into 6.x, some of which have new/renamed settings that you can put
into your defaults file. So far I've managed to get almost everything
adapted to those changes (unless it was an "accidental" feature before,
which I've managed to use a few).

However, I no longer use gnuplot in my daily work on Cygwin/mintty, so I
havent't noticed anything about the sixel terminal. The plot going to
the top of the window happens on Linux as well at least, it's controlled
by option "anchor" and can be changed by "scroll"; another (new?)
default is "nontransparent", setting this to "transparent" does not work
correctly on konsole, but does on a properly set up XTerm, so it should
work without problems in mintty. So yeah, just adapt the default
settings and continue to use that feature as you always have.

Regards,
Achim.
