Just a follow-up on this. I have finally got around to updating to
the latest, xorg-server-21.1.21-1. The behaviour, that being the
X11 window is trapped within the ConEmu visible region. Including
cropping if moved to the edge of that Window.

I've never got to the bottom of that one.
