The following packages have been uploaded to the Cygwin distribution:

* libmpeg2_0-0.5.1-11
* libmpeg2-devel-0.5.1-11
* mpeg2dec-0.5.1-11

libmpeg2 is a free library for decoding MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video streams.

This has been added as the previously encumbering patents have finally 
expired.
