Subject: [ANNOUNCEMENT] Updated: Perl Distributions
Date: Sat, 14 Nov 2015 19:33:26 +0100
Message-Id: <announce.878u60qvm1.fsf@Rainer.invalid>
User-Agent: Gnus/5.13 (Gnus v5.13) Emacs/25.0.50 (gnu/linux)
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/plain

The following Perl distributions have been updated to their latest
versions available on CPAN.

perl-Carp-1.38-1
perl-DBD-mysql-4.033-1
perl-Data-Alias-1.20-1
perl-ExtUtils-LibBuilder-0.08-1
perl-Net-DNS-1.03-1
perl-PadWalker-2.2-1
perl-Pod-Simple-3.32-1
perl-Unicode-LineBreak-2015.011_09-1
perl-Unicode-Normalize-1.23-1

Notes:
------

perl-Data-Alias-1.20 is the first release that works again with Perl
version 5.22.

perl-Unicode-LineBreak-2015.011_09 is a development version, the release
version 2015.11 has a bug that was fixed.

perl-Unicode-Normalize-1.23 has resurrected the XS module, so it is
updated again in Cygwin (not only) for the use of Biber. The releases
after 1.17 had dropped the XS module, which would have made Biber slower
by more than an order of magnitude.
