I guess he means tmux v1.9.

I have looked into this problem a bit.

This problem occurs with tmux v2.0, but does not occur with v1.9.
This is regardless of cygwin version (1.7.35 or 2.0.2).

The changes in the pty code seems to have no relation.

I think this is the same problem as:

Help of the maintainer of tmux is necessary.
