as all Dll's are there I suspect one of them is too old and it is
lacking one function call needed by dig (directly or by another dll)

Usually this should show up with a

strace /usr/bin/dig -help

( An alternative is to use Dependency Walker
http://www.dependencywalker.com/ )

and attach the ouput of cygcheck as mentioned at:

"Run cygcheck -s -v -r > cygcheck.out and include that file as an
