If you mean "DOMAIN\USER" scheme, it would not work for obvious reasons.
I.e., you can't have a file name with [back]slash.

If you really curious, you can dig up the discussion on the subject starting
about a year ago.
I.e. a lengthy topic[1] in February of this year, when preliminary versions of
this change became available.
