The following package has been updated in the Cygwin distribution:

ISC BIND is a suite of Domain Name Service (DNS) utilities.

This is an update to the latest upstream release for the 9.9 stable 
branch.  This release also fixes compatibility with XP x64.

This release includes a fix for CVE-2014-8500:
