Subject: Unable to use Mintty - Fresh Install
From: "pichi032 ." <perronium@gmail.com>

I just read about cygwin and decided to give it a go.. Installed the
64-bit version on Windows 8.1 with default settings but as soon as I
click the Desktop Icon it opens a shell but it immediately closes..
like a glimpse .. I believe that should be Mintty. The path on the
shortcut is the following :

D:\cygwin\bin\mintty.exe -l /Cygwin-Terminal.ico -

any ideas on how to fix this odd issue ?
