Subject: [ANNOUNCEMENT] Updated: libarchive-3.1.2-2
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

The following packages have been updated for the Cygwin x86 distribution
only:

* libarchive13-3.1.2-2
* libarchive-devel-3.1.2-2
* bsdcpio-3.1.2-2
* bsdtar-3.1.2-2

Libarchive is a programming library that can create and read several
different streaming archive formats, including most popular tar
variants, several cpio formats, and both BSD and GNU ar variants. It can
also write shar archives and read ISO9660 CDROM images and ZIP archives.
The bsdtar program is an implementation of tar(1) that is built on top
of libarchive. It started as a test harness, but has grown into a
feature-competitive replacement for GNU tar.

This updates the x86 libarchive to the latest upstream version, matching
that already in the x86_64 distribution. Packages built against this
libarchive-devel will depend on libarchive13 instead of libarchive2.
