Hi,

After updating my cygwin yesterday, my openldap slapd failed to start,
giving the following output:

$ /usr/sbin/slapd -d 1 -f /etc/openldap/slapd.conf
@(#) $OpenLDAP: slapd 2.3.43 (Mar 26 2012 13:27:31) $

vzell@vzell-de:/misc/src/release/openldap-2.3.43-3/build/servers/slapd
daemon_init: listen on ldap:///
daemon_init: 1 listeners to open...
ldap_url_parse_ext(ldap:///)
daemon: listener initialized ldap:///
daemon_init: 2 listeners opened
slapd init: initiated server.
slap_sasl_init: auxprop add plugin failed
slapd destroy: freeing system resources.
slapd stopped.
connections_destroy: nothing to destroy.

If I downgrade libsasl2 to version 2.1.23-1 then it works just fine. I
couldn't find anyone else complaining about this, and it seems to be
over a month since libsasl2 was updated. Am I doing something wrong? I
replicated this problem on two different machines.

Thanks for any help,

Andrew
