You know, as essential as D-Bus is nowadays (very), you'd think they'd
ANNOUNCE THEIR RELEASES somewhere?  They don't announce on any major
desktops' lists, they don't have an announce list, they're not even on
freshmeat, and to make matters worse, their *own website* is one release
behind!

Larry is, as usual, spot on; dbus-1.4.8 is available in Ports, and
1.4.12 is building as I write this.  As for the distro, its package will
be updated once GCC 4.5 goes stable.
