There might be a "shortcut" solution but that doesn't help in finding
the root of the problem.  In essence, your '/etc/passwd' and '/etc/group'
files don't know the Windows group and user ID (SID).  These files are
created by '/etc/postinstall/passwd-grp.sh'.  Since I don't know how to
reproduce what's been reported, I can't offer anything more than WAGs at
possible solutions that would cure the symptoms.  But I'd prefer to see
more  information that would help to clarify and resolve the actual problem.
Any chance you could file a problem report that might help in that regard?
