What it indicates, as Larry Hall said in his reply to your first post, 
is that some of the postinstall scripts didn't succeed.  He advised you 
to send setup.log.full and the "requested output described in the 
problem-reporting link".  He was referring to cygcheck output, as 
explained in

   http://cygwin.com/problems.html

You replied that you are "unable to look at setup.log.full", but you 
didn't say what happens when you try.
