  WAG: somebody's brought in their laptop from home, and plugged it into the
corporate LAN, and it's not even joined to the domain, but it has "simple file
sharing" enabled and it's created a workgroup for itself; "home" is the
workgroup name.  nbtstat may be your friend here if you want to take a look
around for it.
