It provides its own database management interface, as well as backwards compatible interfaces for ndbm and dbm databases. This is a build system update. [[ compiled using gcc-3.4.4-3 ]] This package is cygwin-1.5 specific. It will most likely be the final gdbm update for the cygwin-1.5 distribution; future development will continue with gdbm-1.8.3-20 for cygwin-1.7.
