Very interesting.  These settings are new to me.  I currently 
have SFU installed, but ObCaseInsensitive has value of 0x1.  

As a test, I set ObCaseInsensitive to 0x0, and set the last 
line of fstab to:
none /cygdrive cygdrive binary,posix=0,user 0 0

Hope I got that right.  The /etc/fstab file says that this 
is the default.  Anyway, that configuration also yields reboot.
