Hello,

I installed Cygwin on my PC and it works fine. After the installation I committed the files to my SVN repository. I downloaded the files at another PC and tried to run the following command ‘gcc –o test.o test.c’. It returns the error:

/usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/3.4.4/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/as.exe: /usr/li
b/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/3.4.4/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/as.exe: cannot execute
 binary file

When I use the same command at my PC where I originally installed Cygwin there are no errors returned.

Both PCs run Windows XP SP3. Please can you help me? I don’t know what the problem is.
