Hm, this is the second time someone has made this wrong assumption in as
many days.  Must be something in the water. ;-)

The problem is that you haven't specified all the include paths you
need in makefile.cyg.  Add the appropriate '-I <path>' statements to
your CFLAGS and try again.  If you need more help or details, I suggest
looking at the documentation for 'gcc'.  This issue is generic.  Given
what you've described, you would see the same problem on any *nix platform.
