What do you mean exactly?

Sshd was compiled with tcp-wrappers support, so the use of=20
/etc/hosts.deny and hosts.allow works fine.

Have you read the manual: 'man 5 hosts_access'?

I use DenyHosts wich auto-magically adds entries to hosts.deny (by=20
checking failed logins on /var/log/messages -- I don't redirect sshd's=20
log, I use the default).
