Yes!  The reason is that I'm not math savvy enough to judge what changes
are just bugfixes and to separate out the changes which are really
necessary and which are just topping which I'd rather avoid for a bugfix
release.  So I kept my hands off this stuff.

I would be willing to contemplate this idea if you are willing to send a
diff plus ChangeLog entry which applies cleanly to the sources of the
1.5.25-5 release.  Only bugfixes, please.  Just keep in mind that this
is math stuff, so I don't know what you're talking about ;)

Not from my point of view.  The idea in 1.5.25 was not to have the
latest newlib, just selected fixes.
