I'm not able to reproduce this problem on my WinXP host: $ unison -version unison version 2.27.48 A few questions: Did you have the previous version of unison2.27 installed, and if so did it work properly? If you didn't try it, please try installing it over the current release: wget http://home.comcast.net/~aschulman2/unison2.27/unison2.27-2.27.29-1.tar.bz2 tar -C/ -jxf unison2.27-2.27.29-1.tar.bz2 Then run 'unison-2.27 -version' again and please let me know if it works.
