I apparently jumped the gun on assuming that there were problems with
"the patch" and should have just said "with windows paths in make".  I
apologize for spreading false information.

There is no reason for you to concern yourself with this.  My message
was not a passive complaint about a bug or a dig about make.  If I have
concerns, I know where to direct them.
