  Actually the copyright assignment form dates back from the times when
  Cygwin was owned by Cygnus Solutions, which was later merged into Red
  Hat.  I signed the copyright assignment back in these times, too and
  the only big change since then is that I became a Red Hat employee.
  But don't be afraid.  Signing the copyright assignment doesn't necessarily
  mean you have to become a Red Hat employee at one point ;)
