You might want to start here: > Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Also, you need to make sure that the user you created has all the proper permissions httpd needs to run as a service. If it needs to switch user contexts, etc., this is important. I should point out that adding such a new user is a security hole, if that's a concern for you. Perhaps you'll just want to try getting this working with the default SYSTEM user. If that works, you can backtrack from there. You can also consult the openssh ssh-host-config script.
