You have not provided any details that would give me a hope of reproducing
or debugging this.  Please review and follow

Pay particular attention to the fact that the output of "cygcheck -svr"
should be *attached* (as an uncompressed text attachment).  It would also
help to know the exact sequence of actions that gets you this behavior
(i.e., are you running from a bash shell, a cmd.exe window,
double-clicking on "ksh.exe" in explorer, or what).
