I am doubly wrong :-(, because it will/does not fail. The exit status of
the texi2html call is ignored.

... also, I spelt moot wrong in the original post.

I am a little embarrassed by this foray into the Cygwin mailing list
:-(, hopefully I can make up for it in the future with positive
contributions.
