Well, unless you know how long it's supposed to take, how do you know if that's long enough to conclude it's got stuck or not? A more effective way of checking would be to bring up the windows task manager and see if it's still actively using cpu time and doing stuff. You will almost certainly find that it was, indeed, just busy and not finished yet.
