Been there and done that. The Mercury mail system was a bitch to 
configure and IIRC was not too "unix standard". Got a lot of mail 
looping trying to configure it. It wasn't until Cygwin and Exim came 
long did I get to a mail server that worked well. At this point I would 
just like to say in the Unix world (or the Unix like world) as close as 
possible.
