It also allows restriction to specific domains. This Google search "site:cygwin.com filetype:pdf" will disclose all the PDF files anywhere (that Google indexes) within the "cygwin.com" domain. Only three results are produced by that search and they are all XFree86/Cygwin documents. (There is one PDF file that was attached to a posting to the Cygwin list, but it is malformed and was sent as part of a bug report regarding ps2pdf.)
