Are there no more changes in this release ? Wenn I take a look in the ChangeLog
I can see many more source code changes.

For ld at least there is one major change, the direct linking to a dll feature,
which is described in the win32 machine depending section of the ld info page.
This feature speeds up big libraries and application linking very much.
