I forgot that there isn't the needed information (password) in the rhosts file for this. So this isn't worth exploring (by anyone). The original poster will have to be content to not use a .rhosts file, use telnet, or set up a server running under his user credientials. All these options have been discussed before so I guess I should have just pointed to the email archives originally. ;-) Sorry for the noise. If rhosts authentication takes place... how should Cygwin be able to create a token with network credentials???
