If you mean updating to GL 1.2 or 2.0, no, it will not be done because it 
cannot be done. libopengl32.a contains the the symbols for M$ 
%SYSTEMROOT%\system32\opengl32.dll and is up to date, supporting only 
OpenGL 1.1.

To use OpenGL 1.2 or 2.0 with it, you have to use extensions; see 
www.opengl.org  for a how-to.

Another possibility might be to use Mesa, for which I have no pointer.
