I have the latest SMSTools installed and built using cygwim gcc. When I execute SMSTools (a SMS server) it fails when trying to access the com1 port with.. "permission denied> /dev/com1" Now SMSTools say you should refer to this port as /dev/com1 and not as /dev/ttys0. I have disenabled everything I can think of to make sure there are no conflicts on the com1 port. I have tried chmod the port but have failed to get it to work. Any suggestions?
