Subject: Cygwin Installation Problems To: "'cygwin@cygwin.com'" Message-id: MIME-version: 1.0 Content-type: text/plain I am having a problem with the latest cygwin installation. I use the setup.exe program to download files from the Internet to a local directory and then use setup to install from a local directory. (I do this to use the higher bandwidth available at my workplace to obtain the files, and then install them on my home computer where only a 56K baud line is available). During the final step of the installation process, a message to the effect that cygintl-1.dll is missing pops up, and attempts to use cat,ls, vi etcetera within the resulting cygwin fail. Apparently cygintl-2.dll is installed in the cygwin root bin directory, but not cygintl-1.dll. What needs to be done for a proper installation ?
