Chris,

Yes, in part I'm asking him.

Is that section completely open for people to post links to Cygwin-ported 
or Cygwin-relevant software? I didn't realize that.

So, for example, if I wanted to make available my "port" (only trivial 
changes were required) of Glimpse without becoming beholden as a package 
maintainer, I could get it posted there?

Am I correct in understanding that the individual posting such an 
announcement is responsible for the server resources necessary to make the 
offering publicly accessible?
