Reply-to: danielzr@netzero.net X-mailer: Pegasus Mail for Win32 (v3.12a) I just installed (using setup.exe) cygwin on an NT 4 machine.... The sh prompt tells me that I don't have a username --- when I do an 'id' I get a uid, but no name... when I try to rlogin (even with -l )it tells me that I don't have a username... I have a $USERNAME btw. There is no /etc/passwd file... Any ideas how can I get a username! (Are there really 'logins' for Cygwin?)
