Doing you the courtesy of assuming you are not trolling...

The setup process that downloads and installs is fully open source. Feel
free to improve it to meet whatever criteria you have that currently
make you assign it a rating of "blows ass". Even better, if you
contribute the changes back, and they are done properly, the default
setup could become what have done.
