Hi!

I'm only a beginner with GNU tools and i need some help...

How do I go about creating the most portable application possible?

I intend to use C. I have no experience with autoconf/m4, automake. Are they
worth using? (Non-unix hosts?)

How about libraries and headers?

Any help will be appreciated...
