edit the makefile line

CC=cc

to
CC=gcc

and see if it compiles. There maybe some functions that it requires and
cygwins fails to support.

I couldn't find ispell anywhere on cygwin - so I downloaded one
from a gnu site. When I try to make it - it keeps looking for "cc"
instead of gcc ...

Any suggesitons on how to get ispell working under cygwin? Thanks.
