And if you don't wish to do that; I've been using TERM=ansi on the
remote host.  However there was a push to be more vt100 compatible and
for versions >= 1.3.0 then you could try TERM=vt100 on the remote host. 
I've just begun to try this one and don't have results yet.  It's a good
idea to use X11's resize program after setting the TERM value.
