I downloaded and installed fileutils-3.16 from mirrors.rc.net and confirmed
that the problem is in du. du 3.16 reports the file size correctly while du
4.0 reports half the size. There seems to be a fundamental change in the way
du calculates the results. I'm not sure where the problem lies yet, but I do
know that the call to stat() in count_entry() is returning the correct file
size.
