Same here

clean 1.1.8 install on W95 no other dll

progs work o.k:  gcc, ls , bison, make, perl, dlltool, dllwrap, awk, gawk,
info

Error:
unable to allocate heap, heap_chunk_size 1073741824, win32 error 8
for

progs: ld, vi, ssh, as


p.s. your configure error stems from ld
