Hello List,

I upgraded my Cygwin DLL from 1.1.4 to 1.1.5 today. Now when I launch a bash shell, instead showing my userid@host, the prompt says
"I have no name!@host". The id command worked properly (printed my windows userid) in the previous version but after upgrade, I am
getting this output:
----------------------------------------------------
->Click on the symlink to Cygwin Bash on desktop->

I have no name!@DIAMOND ~
$ id
uid=500 gid=544(unknown) groups=544(unknown)
----------------------------------------------------

I am running Cygwin on a Win 98 machine and for the upgrade I used the latest setup.exe from the Cygwin web site.

What could the problem be? Sorry if this has already been discussed, I searched the archive for Nov 2000 but could not find
anything related.

Thanks in advance,
--Kartic
