After reinstalling a brand new W2K box using my local copy of cygwin tools.
I found exactly the same problem that Sebastiano Vigna clearly reported in a
previous mail.

Using setup v2.22: package without number in name are NOT INSTALLED!!

see http://sources.redhat.com/ml/cygwin/2000-10/msg01044.html

but non one reply the Sebastiano Vigna about that!

At least can you copy an older setup.exe.

Anyway, cygwin is a GREAT PACKAGE, the first I install just after Windows.
Thanks all.

Christian Jullien
