zsh-3.1.9-dev-x compiles OOTB. The version 3.1.9-dev-7 is about to be released
(CVS is already stamped with this version). You need at least binutils
20000722-1; and, of course, cygwin-1.1.x. 1.1.4 is recommended. Do not even
try B20; people reported that Zsh does not work there. Check www.zsh.org for
announcements.

It is not as easy to send binary. Zsh installs a large number of support
files; it basically means to make a distribution that I hope to do sometime
when both Zsh and Cygwin are stable enough to play well together.
