I've saved your suggestion, but I suspect it won't get implemented.
You could either change your regular user name, or edit /etc/profile
after installation.  I don't know, but I suspect that the small number
of users having problems with their user name don't warrant yet
another dialog box for the majority that don't need it.

Plus, implementing your suggestion would totally destroy any chance of
using cygwin on a multi-user system.
