I have verified that. You're right, the -t option works well.
This has nothing to do with the ssh client side since I can
reproduce you're description with Linux ssh clients as well.

Would you mind to send a diff of your changes related to the
original 2.1.1p4-1 version so I can see what you have changed
related to rhost authentification?
