I'm trying to install Apache 1.3.6 using your HOWTO which has been invaluable. Without it, I could not have gotten half as far as I have. So far I've been able to configure and make the package but when I go to run 'make install' the system replies "make: `install' is up to date." Do you have any idea why this would be happening? I have an existing copy of 1.3.6 installed from a binary but renamed the directory so that I could put a new one in the same location (I mounted /usr/local to the same location as my old executable-->f:\bin). I can send a copy of the make results if that would be helpful. I'm also installing the mod_fastcgi module. I am using Windows NT4 SP5 with Cygwin 1.1.2. ------ END ORIGINAL MESSAGE Thanks for any assistance, William -- william@knowmad.com www.knowmad.com On the farm in Lopez, WA -- Want to unsubscribe from this list?
