Great. Thank you -- there were a number of bugs in binutils-20000625 wrt
building and linking to dll's that have only recently been corrected. I
suspected that your problems were in that category -- thanks for
confirming.

So: binutils-20000722-1 contains the appropriate fixes for the problems
you encountered.
